Galileo operates a UH-1H helicopter gunship as a hyperspectral sensor platform.  When high resolution and proximity over target count, our precision flying "Huey" provides a stable, highly maneuverable means to collect high sensor resolution data.

Galileo air operators are graduates of the High Threat Survival Training course given by the US Department of State.

The UH-1H gunship provides:

• Tactical type orbiting of target and low level flight
  
• 90 minute over-target endurance
  
• Operation of simultaneous two sensor payload
  
• Airspeed range from hover to 110 knots
  
• Altitude range from hover to 15,000 ft mean sea level
  
• Up to ten passenger/observers
  
• Observation and camera sensor ports
  
• Ground transport via trailer for "pop and fly" sorties
